I was just talking about heading out to Valley Center again! Did you enjoy it? I feel like it's one of those places I can "not worry" about Strava - which is nice.

Exactly. I wanted to "get out of Dodge" (AKA Carlsbad) with NO Strava pressure...just Dan shouting behind me..."turn right, no not yet..stay left at the fork, no not there...cars whizzing by me with no shoulder...and an upside down car in the bike lane minutes before we passed w/ the whole Fire dept on Lake Wohlford Rd....it was more than I could take...I missed Carlsbad! Is your Vespa in the shop?

My son's birthday was Friday so we've been enjoying a lot of family time. I only went on Lake Wohlford Rd once and that did seem awfully narrow - but I am used to no bike lanes having come from Idaho! Did you try Couser Canyon?

Get your priorities straight Heather...he'll have other birthdays:) Dan says we didn't ride Couser Canyon...I don't know where we went..."turn right next stop sign, left next 3 lights",etc., etc...I could not repeat that ride by myself to save my life. Glad you and David have balance in your life! Hope birthday weekend was fun and you might sneak a ride on the Vespa today!
