I'm with @Chad: 100% Badass! However, Swift...I found the last Peloton post a bit curious. I appreciate your willingness to ponder the comment made by the Dutch gentleman, but, really, it is bullsh**. He clearly has no idea what this means for female cyclists, much less women as a whole. And for each naysaying man, there are 1000 men whose hearts are with you. "We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?...Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine..." Allez! Allez!

Wow. I'm still so positively awestruck by the team's awesome performance on Stage 11 that I'm not sure what to say. Allez. Chapeau. .... I'm running out of French vocabulary.
Shelly- count me among the 1000 just like the others here. I have a feeling that you might agree with my comment in response to that blog on peloton's FB page.
Heidi- you and the team will succeed for many reasons. One of them: you can turn the world into your personal tifosi*. Two: you're smart enough and appreciative enough to do this when you need it (now!). I enjoyed the Stage 11 blog, in which you talked about riling up fans, winking at old men (whatever works, and it did), and even going crazy with a fellow teammate. Letting others into this great journey will be a key to the team's success. Thanks for letting all of us be your tifosi!
*ran out of French so had to resort to Italian; now I'm out of that too

OK 16300ft is like 50 times up my local climb - I can't even relate, that's why it's so amazing Heidi. You are not after hero status but you might just have achieved it some of our eyes by daring to toe the line. Certainly inspiring. Keep going!
