Nice work Joe. Perhaps I can make the 2nd half with you. What happened to the not riding for speed part? Great effort out there.

How were the trail conditions on the Backbone (Will Rogers). Weed choked, poison oak, or OK?

You da man

@Doug...thanks for the phone call-in support today.
Will Rogers Update
Mile 1, Nice
Mile 2, Way overgrown
Mile 3-6, has recently been plowed and is now a doubletrack.. Like most plowings, the soil is soft and at times sandy. They broke a ton of rocks so there is a loose rock, sandy misture at times. I choose to walk the steeper sections thinking I had a longer day ahead of me.
I spoke to the 3 guys doing all the trailwork and thanked them up and down. After a few good rains, it will be hardpacked. 2 years ago, that trail had some serious damage and it has all been repaired. The workers told me they are working south giong towards Will Rogers park with their work.
Right now, it's a tough climb with the loose conditions

There must have been a mix-up because your police escort came to crit practice and drove around the opposite direction saying something unintelligible over the loudspeaker. Maybe be was saying, "Where is Joseph Keays?"
