that's a tough one, especially since I re-did my position on my 9700 hard-tail this morning to make it closer to the Stumpy and the ride wasn't THAT different. But, unless you're going to be riding lots of almost free-riding stuff, I'd get the hard-tail 29.

So for a new bike. A 29er or a full suspension 26? What is best?
