As a foreigner living, working and racing in China, I feel embarassed fellow foreigners to witness the traffic mess and unsafe driving attitude (especially in the North of China, even more so during this week-long National Holiday). I really can't understand what the race organisers are thinking about the Tour of Beijing by limiting viewers in the city and not even covering it on the National Sports Channel. Personally, I feel embarassed that the Beijing smog decided to be on its worst behavior the week of the protour event...Hope you enjoyed the ride Taylor, good luck with the race !

Beijing traffic is bad, but personally I felt safer than on some narrow Italian roads where cars are fast and leave you no space
