Glad to see that while Falling Waters is only a Cat 1, Franconia is HC. I climbed that loop many many times many many years ago - like well before the old man slid off the mountain. Was nice to see this pop up on Strava. Greenleaf (right?) Hut still there? Good times.

yes there was snow and ice on the falling waters trail and sections of the ridge line

Love that loop. One of my favorites! Last time I did it a few years ago descending Falling Waters was like an ice river!
My wife & I did that hike on our honeymoon back in 2008. Beautiful spot.
