Dude, I've seen your hardtail, and I'm pretty sure that it's lighter than my CX bike! Don't worry, I won't tell anyone, though. :)
It was a nice change (other than gearing/traction) from hauling the AM Mojo up the hill, that's for sure.

Damm you!! Now everybody knows. I have been looking at borrowing a CX bike to give these uphill climbs a try just to see what the difference is. I want to try on my road bike but common sense tells me that a lightweight carbon with skinny wheels equals disaster. BTW, you need to hammer up St Joes to Vista. I expect a great time. Nice Dieselage, Diesel! Almost dethroned Paul… but on a cross bike. I’m curious to see what sort of damage Paul could do on a cross bike though… not that I want to see all the KOMs that are achievable on a normal mountain bike go buh-bye or anything though.
