I remember having my phone beeped as i went by a group of runners. Maybe i picked up one of their heart rates.
so bizarre, was someone stalking you? did u use your garmin or phone?
are these the garmin910 bugs people were talking about??
Garmin... Don't think anyone was following me. the only person i know who'd have such an elevated heart rate @ such a slow pace is Gina..=P
I was following you! 166 ... pff that's my HR when I'm watching Criminal Minds. Garmins in general get a little funky when there are multiple garmins around. I know a lot of people who have had trouble getting accurate HR or cadence readings in a group of garmin users. The ANT devices get all confused ... but if there was no one around this is very weird.
I went passed a group of people, but only briefly. Gina, are you doing wildflower? I'm starting to consider it. I just want to pass Mike and Isaac on the bike. =P
I'd probably sign up for collegiate.
Wildflower Long is the plan ... I had a lot of crappy things happen last year, so I need to go back for redemption in 2013. I won't tame the beast, but I'd at least like to smack it on the butt.
i'm do long course too bud, it's a difficult course and kicks my ass every single year. It' comparable to a full ironman, u should do it.
ya, all the cool kids are doing it
@gina that's why i go every year, this will be my 4th year doing long course, I wouldn't quite call it a smack ot the butt, considering it gives me a blow to the head, but hey, i feel accomplished at the end of the day every year, regardless of the little dent i leave. hopefully i can leave a bruise this year ; )
Gina.. I wouldn't refer to isaac that way.
You kids are too cool for me. I'll stick to Olympic. I don't want to overstress my body. I'll be doing 3 70.3s and "maybe" throwing at 140.6 at the very end of the year. We'll see.
@Isaac, I figure things can only go up for me since I'm new to this whole triathlon thing. It's been an interesting road so far, and I've had a few major reality checks, but I think I've learned a couple things this year ...
@Jersey the Oly is still nothing to scoff at. Just sucks for you that while you are trying to sleep, I will be drinking copious amounts of beer and celebrating ... hopefully.
same for me ;) heheheeh
