It is possible to cross under I459 at patton creek, but it is definitely not recommended - spent 5 minutes submerging both of my shoes in a pond to try to get all the mud out of the speedplay cleats after hiking/sliding/sinking deep into the mud/clay. it was rideable from that point through the woods to the neighborhood - except for the fence

Also, I just posted a blog with a short description and annotated map of a cool biking trail in Helena that is over 2 miles long and connects the middle school and elementary school together ... and there are FOUR tunnels on the trail. How cool is that!
