strava tells me i have done the fastest lap by about 5 km/h over 2nd. oh hell yeah.

Nice estimated power output there :)

It's ok, we saw the 'motor pace' tag and we'll have to just flag the KOM so it gets deleted :-)
Gerald E.
Actually the whole training i was 2nd wheel because the motor bike couldn't go any faster in the wet and we weren't being pushed enough so i was not getting much slip stream from the motor bike so you can't flag that. and i held about that pace for 5 laps 5 times so I think it counts ;)
Marc D.
I'm guessing you had your rear wheel rubbing on the frame as well?
Gerald E.
not to mention the gear I'm running. 49, 16. that is nothing. my cadence at that speed would have been around 180-190. like to see many other people on those leader boards hold that for 5 laps ;)
Iain S.
I actually removed the times I did because they were too fast, I normally do the ride sitting backwards just to add some spice to it :P
Marc D.
Iain is interesting to watch because he usually pedals with his hands. You'll also note that Iain runs a 34 x 28 on his road bike and does most of his work in that gear, so his cadence is pretty impressive, usually up around where his heart rate is.
