I am from Charleston. Bill Nottingham hired me as a mechanic at Charleston Bicycle Center when I was 14, and I still try to visit every time I come in town. Lots of good times riding and racing in KSF!

It was COLD. I was wearing (saggy) arm warmers and a vest, and my fingers were so frozen I couldn't shift.
