I'm following what my training plan calls for. I'm sure there are multiple ways to do them (a google search turned up a slew of options) other than this series. These were 30sec on/30 off - not sure if percentages change as the duration increases. I'd recommend searching some of the more expert opinions in the Google groups Wattage Group for an answer.

Are there specific numbers to shoot for on the over/under as a percentage of FTP(or VO2 power)?
Solid.
Yup - Intervals with over VO2, followed by just under VO2. Repeat until you want to black out.
