now THAT is a hell of a local ride.
Thanks Boris! Definitely a hot, hard ride. The new climb up Shook Hill was great with 610 vertical feet from the low point on Rocky Ridge and only one downhill (also on Rocky Ridge). It helped that I had a great tailwind on the climb.
I must say, all of your climbing is very inspirational but this ride is beyond impressive. My goal is to ride 20K of elevation by Monday. Thanks!!!
Next time you are down near Liberty Park try Riverview Cove > River Run Drive. There is a corkscrewing climb out of Riverview Cove that is pretty nasty.
Thanks Joseph! @Jacob - I've done the Riverview Cove climb, it's one of the few that has a warning sign with the percentage gradient on the downhill (15%). That's the average gradient but there are sections over 20% on it!
