That was probably the most mentally and physically exhausting ride I've done.
The cold, strong gusty wind, rain, and fog made it even harder than I expected it to be.
Amazing. Way to battle the tough conditions.
But I still think you've lost your mind!!!
haha, thanks. I was hoping to complete the entire Rapha climbing challenge in one ride, but my body gave up on me on that last climb.
Is that this week? Oh, man.
Totally ridiculous Titan. I love it!!
"Rule #9: If you are out riding in foul weather, it means you are a badass. Period. Fair-weather riding is a luxury reserved for Sunday afternoons and wide boulevards. Those who ride in foul weather – be it cold, wet, or inordinately hot – are members of a special club of riders who, on the morning of a big ride, pull back the curtain to check the weather and, upon seeing rain falling from the skies, allow a wry smile to spread across their face. This is a rider who loves the work."
Awesome effort Titan. You're riding mountains as if they are flat. Very impressive!
I'm sure it will change as the day goes on, but as of now I have the highest amount of climbing of anyone in the US (#1/2782).
Nice controlled heart rate. I'm betting your caloric intake failed you. You would have had to eaten 5 Big Mac meals during the ride to have kept up. Nice ride!
