Sorry for late response, but yeah, I'm heading out to D2 again this year. We should hook up and go sub 7hrs.. Did you ever do it on your road bike?

I did it last year on a road bike with a 26c up front and 23c in the rear. I'd probably do the same. I used pretty tough tires so did not have to worry much about flats, etc. If I am able to do it I'll let you know.
