  • I made it! I made it! I made it! The Cent Cols Cantabrico was without question the hardest thing I've ever done in my life - by a monstrously humongous margin - proud (and exhausted) to have made it back to Bilbao in one piece. #RaphaTravel #centcolschallenge #CCCCantabrico #outsideisfree
  • It's all downhill from here! | with @ingambatours
  • @knapprd looking all pretty in the early morning light on the Col du Pré on another outrageous day of riding with @ingambatours.
  • All kinds of amazing this morning on the Cormet d'Areches with @ingambatours and that regal figure in a perfect landscape, @knapprd.
  • Almost a week ago - hard to believe.
  • Chasing. #giro
  • To all you jerks out there posting pics in short sleeves: I don't like you right now!
  • We went in search of some nice trails for shooting above the Passo Gardena last night, but ended up playing in the snow.
  • Morning recovery ride date to Waffle House.
  • The secret ingredients for today's rice cakes courtesy @bijuthechef and @allenskratch: maple syrup and almond butter. @skratchlabs thinks @iamtedking would approve. Yes?
  • Found a friend at the laundromat.
  • The sign of a long, long day: still wearing Sanremo press creds 24 hours later. We made it to Belgium at 7am and even got in a little sleep.
  • Sunshine in Belgium!
  • Mid-ride snack: A little different than Waffle House offerings.
  • Midday snack: apple, Brie, and caramel quesadilla. Easy peasy and yum!
  • No words necessary.
  • The Muro di Ca' del Poggio is a great piece of road for a bike race. I stole this shot from @jeredgruber, but he does it to me all the time, so it's fair...right? :-)
  • Sometimes, it hurts a lot, and I'm not in a good place, and then I see @jeredgruber scrambling around in the rocks trying to take a picture. The riding has been incredible so far - but so, so hard. The dirt, er, rocks here are no joke. #SeekandDiverge #hunt5 #iamspecialized
  • Party on the Timmelsjoch with @klugsi and friends.
  • No bikes here. We got the chance to do our first ever trail running shoot this fall with @craftsportswear - and it was a blast. Thanks to @igortavella for always pointing us in the right direction.
  • Liege-Bastogne-Liege. I know it's not a new spot (far from it), but it's still pretty spectacular.
  • Blue skies, dirt roads, flowers made of cotton.
  • When the afternoon summer storm clears - one of my favorite times to ride.
  • If I don't feel small enough already on a huge climb - there are walls like these to reinforce the idea.
  • This is not posed. This is what happened to me on Sunday - a normal winter afternoon in Athens. Completely empty from a weekend of fantastic rides, still not home, belly full of BBQ, oddly very happy.
  • Tradition holds that if you make it to the top of the climb into Siena first - the race is yours. Unfortunately for Greg Van Avermaet, he had Zdenek Stybar on his wheel over the top, and Styby made quick work of the Belgian just after the turn.
  • You can SEE the wind.
  • Super happy for John Degenkolb after a fantastic sprint to cap off a wild day. For what might have been the first time ever, I picked the winner ahead of the race. On another note - happy I had the chance to shoot my first ever finish at Sanremo...on the Via Roma, no less! That's where the race is supposed to finish. :-)
