  • I like new toys that go fast!
  • It's too bad that we couldn't find anywhere nice to ride around Richmond....
  • There were a few gnats out there today. Kinda gross.
  • Am I Doin' It Right? Totally. DIRTy recovery ride.
  • @tobiasludvigsson and Fredrik enjoying the new terrain today on a great 5hr ride.
  • Doc and Marty had better get to work if it's going to be ready in time for the big day in a few months! #BTTFfansknowwhatimtalkingabout
  • Traffic: it'll find you anywhere.
  • 5hrs unsupported in this heat is no fun, so I'm doing my rides Texas style. The roads are quiet at 645!
  • There's something about the crunch of dirt under tires that is good for the soul.
  • The @giantalpecin mechanics at least have a sense of humor after the extra work I've given them lately. They thought this might help me stay upright today.
  • Technically, that IS just one piece. It's okay, though, I rode my bike today--I earned it.
  • How would that accident report look?
  • Trying to forget how exhausted I am and just enjoy the view...
  • The elation of realizing that I had miscounted, and there are actually only 4 stages left...followed by the heartbreaking discovery that I had already pulled today's card from the stack. Mental fatigue is real!
  • Finally a day where it was warm enough to get some sun on my skin! #ridelikeking
  • I'd rather be at #USPRO today, but this didn't suck.
  • I used my easy ride today to explore some less-traveled roads. In my country (which is younger than those bricks) we would call this a bike path.
  • Stringed instruments only!
  • Just out for a spin with my head on a swivel, admiring the architecture. In Italy, if you're going uphill, you're nearing a church.
  • The roads around here are lined with shrines, but sometimes the simplest are the most beautiful.
  • Once in a while, it's not raining, and our office is quite spectacular.
  • One of the locals got married recently....
  • I'd heard that the best way to see Italy is by scooter, but something might have been lost in translation.
  • The sun is setting over Lucca, but I can't hang around to admire it, gotta ride back!
  • I crushed Monteserra today and was rewarded with a classic car show up on the wall. Nice!
  • My favorite of all the miniature Italian cars. I could fit this guy in the bed of my truck!
  • Widely accepted as the ugliest car of all time!
  • I guess Don Corleone doesn't need his car today.
  • I don't think that windscreen would do anything for me besides deflecting bugs straight to my face.
  • From that time Fiat found their design inspiration in America.
  • Would you consider this to be a mini horse-drawn carriage or a mini-horse-drawn mini-carriage?
  • That's gotta be the most bonkers thing I've ever done. Diesel much? I was rollin the last 2 hours, so motivated to finish! That's 200mi for the metric illiterate. And now, off season!
  • Slickrock is just a giant playground! A bucket list trail has been checked off!
  • @shawnksmalls taking in the view he worked so hard for. Porcupine Rim, Moab.
  • Anyone who has been in Colorado lately needs no caption.
  • Welcome to Texas, where the sun is shining, the roads are clean, and it's warm enough to show off my pasty legs!
  • Farewell, trusty footwear. I can't believe you survived 6 years of muddy abuse, but let's face it, you're barely holding on now. And then there's the smell. So it's out with the old, in with the new. Shimano is now in charge of power delivery, looking forward to trying them out tomorrow!
  • Those sure are some funny-looking horses to keep in your front yard....
  • Another funny-looking horse!
  • This is how you know the food is great.
  • Try'n'ta catch me ridin' dirty.... I have never understood why these signs are here. In the thousands of miles of roads I ride around here, these signs inexplicably dot only a few miles of this one particular, innocuous road.
  • Rollin' like it's 2010.
  • Bird wanted to help with the gift wrapping, but got more than she bargained for.
  • 2015's first ride felt bizarre for more than just the wrong side of the road, but the new whip is smoooooth
  • Sometimes I need help remembering if this is a work trip or vacation.
  • Aussie coinage, left to right: 5c, $2, 10c, $1, 20c, 50c. Umm, uh, okay.
  • Target acquired.
  • I ventured into the unknown today and lived to tell the tale. It's a metaphor. But that actually happened.
  • 2-for-2, 2015 is off to a great start!
  • Australia+Dubai=tanlines
  • Bonita espana! Sin filtro.
  • Sometimes you have to be thousands of miles from your toolbox to discover that your travel spoon fits the tensioner so well that you're forced to check if it's part of Shimano's silverware line. #keepchallenging
  • Today was my first ride on the Trinity since TTT worlds. Just an easy day for the legs, but my neck and shoulders need some strengthening to hold the position! The solution? More time on the bike.
  • I heard #happinesswatts is a thing now, so I gave it a try. The intervals that followed went great, and I credit the dulce de leche.
  • Disappointing TT? Have a slice, you'll feel better.
  • San Remo seems okay so far.
  • 2 of the first 3 checkpoints are feedzones, and it'll take over 5 hours to reach them. I bet you can't guess the focus of my race....
  • I hit the deck twice today and wasn't able to contribute quite as much as I wanted, but that's how it goes sometimes. ~7km to go, my pain went away mysteriously. May have had something to do with what I heard in my radio....
  • I must'a found a wormhole somewhere, because I've found myself in Texas. Rest day shenanigans with @babyhaga.
  • Today's ride was fueled by a pocketful of homemade pumpkin muffins. The hard part was not eating them all at once.... #happinesswatts
  • I may have found the source of Girona's pollen. Fields upon fields of yellow.
  • @kielreijnen and I did the smart thing and ditched @carterjones89 to avoid a storm. He stayed dry, we got hail.
