  • A little disconcerting to be 17 miles up the Deschutes and have sealant start spraying out of both tires, making me realize I'd turned my tires into pin cushions full of thorns.  Luckily I had plenty of sealant, two tubes in my pack,  and so dodged a bullet and limped them back.  That would have been a long walk.  I pulled over 20 thorns out of them when I got to the car.
