  • OK, now we're ramping up the ugly. This was the Princeton Cycling jersey sometime around 2000. Tiger stripes! Claim it in the comments or it goes on the endangered species list.
  • Long Beach, long boat, short bike, short caption.
  • Here's your second chance to claim one of my ugly old cycling jerseys. This was my team jersey in New Jersey from 1988 to 1992. CRC of A, not to be confused with New York City team CRCA. Not a bad design, really, but it's made from a fabric that I'm pretty sure is mostly dryer lint. Claim it in the comments or I'll throw it out along with yesterday's unclaimed jersey.
  • The @sfcyclingclub cyclocross clinic and the @fatcakeclub rides rolling out this morning. If you are in this photo let me know in the comments and I'll tag you.
  • Vallombrosa. On November 4, 1333 the Arno flooded Florence under 15 feet of water. A monk at this Abbey claimed that he saw a troop of mounted demons riding to submerge the city. Today it was all clear, so that's good.
  • Stopping for sandwiches and gelato on the Via de'Neri in Florence at the end of a great ride.
  • Vetta le Croci. This is my favorite intersection in cycling.
  • Arrivederci, Toscana. Thanks for a great summer of cycling. See you next year.
