My passion has grown for cycling in the last year. I started doing Triathlons in 1980 and returned to the sport in 2010 after raising 4 kids. I competed in my first Ironman in 2012. Since then, my passion for cycling has grown and I have changed my focus to endurance cycling along with climbing. I have joined REV Cycling team which focuses on endurance cyling. I have several endurance events on my schedule for 2014 with some climbing goals as well. Looking forward to a lot of time on the bike in 2014. I will be mixing in a swim or run to switch things up a little. May even do a triathlon or two. My biggest accomplishment by far this far was being able to participate in RAAM this year as a 4 person 50+ mixed relay. Truly an unforgettable experience. Right with that was being able to complete the Furnace Creek 508 on the tandem with REV (George Vargas) a veteran of endurance cycling. That event was equally difficult in that it was straight through with only short breaks. I was able to hit my climbing goal of 1 million feet in 2014. Looking forward to more challenges in 2015. Trip to France in 2015 was a trio of a lifetime. Riding in the Alpes for 12 days was incredible. Racing the L'Etape tour and Everesting Alpe d'Huez were the highlights of my trip as well as watching the TDF in person
