Mike's Bikes Col du Pantoll Showdown

Out to the Coast. Up Tam. Quickly.

Challenge Ended: August 29, 2012
Mike's Bikes is laying down a challenge for the best climbers in Nor-Cal to test their talents on the Stinson to Pantoll segment for one week only. The event will culminate with the 8/29/2012 Col du Pantoll group ride with CHP escort. Upload stations will be provided after the ride so you can get your last, best time on the board for all to see.

The 3 fastest male and female finishers will earn podium spots and receive sweet prizes, as will the finishers with the most segment attempts within the duration of the challenge. There will be door prizes galore at the 8/29 group ride BBQ as well, so don't miss it.

Riders can upload their data from August 23 - 29th to compete for the best times and most attempts. The last chance to compete is on Wednesday, August 29th during the CHP-escorted Col du Pantoll Group Ride from Mike's Bikes in Sausalito. No attempts will be counted after the finish of the 8/29 Col du Pantoll ride.

To top it off, everyone who attends Mike's Bikes BBQ (taking place immediately following their Col du Pantoll Group Ride on Wednesday 8/29) will win a little something just for participating! 'Like' Mike's Bikes on Facebook for updates on prizes.

During the post-ride barbecue on 8/29, Mike's Bikes will make stations available for you to upload your ride. They'll also make public announcements as the leaderboard is updated. Everyone is invited to attend both the group ride and the barbecue; learn who will be crowned the King and Queen of the Pantoll!

**Fine print: Mike's Bikes employees, members of Team Mike's Bikes, and professional bicycle racers are not eligible for prizes for this particular challenge (though all are welcome to participate). Mike's Bikes will contact you through Strava to award your prize as either a top finisher or recorder of the most attempts. Those in attendance for the 8/29 Col du Pantoll will receive their prizes that evening following the ride. Sorry, no manual entries will count towards this challenge**
