Bonita Road Runners

Running   United States San Diego, California

The Bonita Road Runners is a non-profit, volunteer-based running club open to anyone with an interest in a healthy lifestyle and the benefits of regular exercise. The club was founded in the early 1980s by a group of veteran runners who shared a passion for running and wanted to offer the South Bay area a running club that gives back to the area we love.

The club created, organizes and sponsors the Bonita 5000, an annual 5 kilometer race event. Proceeds from the Bonita 5000 are donated to three local high school track and cross-county programs. Club members give countless hours of volunteer support to these high school programs by assisting at meets with officiating, finish line, and scoring duties.

The club also sponsors and organizes the Bonita 8K Stampede, held as part of the USATF Dirt Dog Series.

We'd love to have you join us for a "test run." We're sure you'll be back!!!

Happy Running!
