Alpine Loop Gran Fondo Training Event https://www.bikereg.com/2015trainingride

I almost wrote mostly flat but that would be wrong!   The route is to head out for recon of the 2 main climbs of the Shenandoah Mountain Challenge and Alpine Loop routes. After a warm up climb on the east side of Briery Branch Gap riders will descend to Sugar Grove for a re fuel then SM riders will climb back up the pavement while Alpine Loop riders will tackle the synister Dark Side of Reddish Knob.  Riders will regroup in Breiry Branch before having the option to add on Mole hill or take the B line back to the burg for lunch. 

Before and after we will have discussions about bike set up and training as well as open Q and A.
