"There's King Ted!" exclaimed my seven year old daughter to my five year old son, as we were watching the race today. May have missed the win, but you got some great coverage today and some love from Phil and Paul. Kids got a kick seeing the local hero on the tele!
Just wanted to say thanks for taking the minute out of your busy schedule this AM. You had just come out of the C-dale bus and were starting off to the sign-in. My son asked if it was okay to get his picture taken with you. You were all class, in spite of being hurried. Thanks, Ted. Hoping you have much success. (Also, Phil & Paul were big fan boys of yours on the tube as you set tempo.)
Glad to see one of my KOMs survived your onslaught, even if it is a lame one :)

just another day in the saddle
Ted, You are riding awesome! Keep it up!!!
Those genius commentators have got so many facts and figures incorrect about California and the race even it's crazy. They kept saying the climbing was over 6000 meters today. I was always taught roughly 3 ft to the meter! Good riding out there!
Yeah, heard them say 18,000ft elevation gain. Looks like that was off by about 10,000ft.
From CyclingNews: "Ted [King] did very good work, he pulled on the front all day and he took me to the front on the last kilometer, and the last 500m after Boivin was the last man," Sagan said. "He took me the last 200m on the front, and I did my sprint. I had a little bit of luck because of the headwind, so it was better to start the sprint later."

Great win for the Green Machine. Way to lead
Great work and nice pull for Peter Ted! Hopefully you can make the TDF this year.
God job Team Cannondale
I guess you rode down the climb.
You seemed to be the only rider cresting the climb that didn't fall over.
What an amazing race!
Good luck and keep on riding strong!
How 'bout a nice dip in the hot tub to cool off ??????
Power meter went kaput, probably melted.
Awesome job Ted, you looked pretty good finishing in comparison to a lot of the other guys!
Never seen a survival finish like that before.
That was truly EPIC. The final climb made me want to cry.
Awesome ride
Way to rip up the KOMs in my neck of the woods. And most were achieved with temps much lower than today.
Great job today! I wouldn't wish anybody that amount of heat and suffering.
Killer job - much respect!

Stud! That is all I can say.
Gotta love the screws from the cleats burning the bottoms of your feet!
Amazing! What a ride! Great job
Love your description, I rode just a fraction of what you guys did today, so I totally concur with your take on the heat! Awesome ride!
Saw you cross the finish line. It looked like you were the only guy who could of kept on going!
We're looking forward to seeing you guys cruise through the Bay next week!
Once again, another great title. Best of luck the rest of the way Ted!
