Nice to get an early start and beat the crowds, but it was still pretty warm and muggy in the canyon. Nice breeze on the ridge. Trail was overgrown more than ever, and poison oak was abundant. Sure I'll be feeling that soon. On the plus side, the wildflowers were blooming like crazy. Paolo kept up with me on the second loop climb, which I ran hard. Fitness is coming, but need some more hard efforts like this now that I have a base.
