Our first Spring Gravel Series ride of 2024!  It was an awesome ride with a great turnout.  We didn’t capture all of them in the group photo, but at least 43 people came out to ride today.  Given the large group, we broke into four pace groups, instead of our usual three:  Short, Medium, Medium+, and Long.  The Medium+ group did the medium route, but at a faster pace (about half-way between the Long and Medium groups), which worked out great.  Thank you Josh for leading that group.  And our thanks to everyone who came out to ride and made it a fun day!

We had a fast crew for the Long Distance group today and finished the course in record speed, but still took time to enjoy the scenery and snap some photos.  Westchester is a few weeks behind the city in terms of spring, so all of the daffodils and flowering trees were in full blossom, which was beautiful to see.

Many riders from all speed groups gathered at Paulie's Deli after the ride for beer, sandwiches, etc.  It was fun to hang out with everyone!

*** COME JOIN US FOR SGS#2 NEXT WEEK STARTING IN DOVER PLAINS, NY! ***  We’ll post the routes and Strava invitation soon.  That route takes place in Dutchess County and is one of our most beautiful.
