    We've lost a lot of great people this year. Glen Campbell was the one I could most relate to since the early 70's. For me, from across the waters, he typifies what is good about the USA. Very sad.

    Johan Kriel and Appalachian Runner, I always associate Glen Campbell with Apollo 11. My sister received a Glen Campbell album for her 13th birthday: July 20, 1969. She played it repeatedly in her room while my parents and great-grandmother watched the television news about the moon landing. Galveston, Gentle On My Mind, By the Time I Get to Phoenix, and Wichita Lineman are my favorites. If either of you haven't watched the documentary, I'll Be Me, in which Glen Campbell's battle with Alzheimer's is followed, be sure to watch it soon. Have tissues handy . . . .
