Yup try to avoid those things. I tend to panic because I don't get my clip ons off in time and fall embarrassingly in front of everyone 🙃🤓🤢
I don't clip in because of the ruptured tendon and ligament in my ankle. I use very aggressive MTB pedals and Five Ten shoes. The cleats from the pedals embed in the shoes so my feet don't slip.
Oh thanks for the info Nina 😉. It definitely sounds like an option I will consider in the future. I was recommended clip ins because one can pull up the pedals as well as the usual pushing down on them. Anyway I'm still learning a lot about bikes 🚴, bike riding and all related stuffs. Strava is a good platform to meet wonderful people like you 😉and just associate with like-minded community 🤗👍🚴🏻♀️🏆
Claudine Chen I would use clipless pedals if I could, but I need the pedals to support the ankle. But I have to say that the MTB pedals with the Five Tens are a good alternative. I pass a lot of people who are clipped in. And like you, I'm new at this game and still learning.
Thanks Meow Meow . By the way, my husband and I are cat lovers too. We have a very spoiled tuxedo cat named Goober.
