Afternoon Ride

No rocket fuel but plenty of diesel. Freezing and hot and wind and stillness; all environments are here 

Wind was basically a huge crosswind from the ocean at HMB and then calm on the coast. Unfavorable for sailing south but dece for out and back.

Notes:
- south wind in palo alto; strange
- warm in Woodside
- crosswind on Canada throughout and becomes worse farther out. Bloody typhoon at 92
- pure headwind across 92. Hauling full bottles up as well
- and then calm in HMB wtf?!?
- pretty calm along the coast
- annoyed not to get a tailwind, but at least the return from Gazos Creek was easy
- perfect temp along coast. Homeostasis
- chilling in Pescadero 
- overheating up Haskins 
- warm up Alpine. Decent wind
- mostly south tailwind on Skyline. Good temp
- GNARLY descent to 92. Absolutely ZERO visibility in the marine layer. Massive gusts. Freezing
- Normal cross tailwind back on Canada. Warm enough to recover from the freezing descent
- usual headwind up Portola. Mild
