Distance: 24 km
Elevation gain: 1000 m

Markha Valley has been cited as the most popular trek in Ladakh. However, most of the trail is now a road.

Day 3 of the Skypacking Ladakh trek started from the hamlet of Sara (3580 m). Since we knew we would be walking on an unpaved road for over 20 km until Hankar, we decided to start the day a little late (around 8:00 AM).
