Kardium Lunch Run

First race as a master (at least by BC athletics definition). Very warm morning, so I tried not going out too fast, which I mostly followed. I surged at 5k trying to reel in 5th and 4th and was successful... then I died by 6k. The 7th k was pretty rough as the heat definitely got to me. This is basically the start of my attempt to race myself into fitness for the next several weeks.
