After a good six months without much riding, I'm starting to get back into it a bit more. Hot again today, this time to 43.4C / 110F.  Popped up for a ドボン with Anna, at a spot that Nigel Randell  has mentioned many times.  The water was very cold.

Jokingly asked whether Anna wanted to pop up the KOPC climb (1km @ 11%) and she said "sure".  It was my 4th time (and slowest time), but to do it in that heat with my lack of fitness.... it felt accomplished.
