An easy ride to go check out a place to swim that Giordano had told us about.  It was a hot day, but much cooler up north than in the city, and the ride there was lovely.

Then when we arrived at the river, Mimi got stung twice by hornets, and also slipped on a slimy rock and bonked her tailbone. 😱  And then Anna went into the very cold water up to her neck (and the clouds came in), so she got cold to the point of shivering. In Japan's August!

It was my turn for something bad to happen to, but we made it back fine.....

... or so I thought. Later in the afternoon after returning I started to feel as if I had a touch of heatstroke. Which is weird because I felt fine on the ride, even when it got very hot for the last 30 minutes. But an hour or two after returning I started to feel heat-strokey. Weird.
