I almost turned around 4 miles into this one. The last 6 weeks have been, in combination, the toughest training I’ve ever done and my legs are feeling it. I’m glad I kept going though. Eventually everything calmed down and I cruised very comfortably the rest of the way. I’ll get one last longish run next weekend, probably around 10 miles, but aside from that I’ll start to work into a taper pretty soon. About 12 days from Georgia Jewel. Time to get completely healthy and fresh.
