Facing the scary unknown across the range. Rocky river was beautiful. Fairy wonderland. Up and down a lot. Enjoyed the main climb seemed easy compared to the constant pinches. Tough 80 k to Tenterfield 5 hours light rain at the end. Headed back into the forest - awesome tracks. More climbing seemed to never end .  Got disoriented with the GPS I was not lost by it but my personal bearing was spun out. Glad to make it out of the bush and get to Deepwater. Quick local knowledge chat and then full time trialled to Glen Innes. Desperate to make up K’s behind where I wanted to be because the first 2 days had been so time consuming on challenging terrain
