First 70 was half fast half slow with long corrugated roads into Tambar springs. Sopping wet and pretty cold. Headed out again with the rain pants on. Wet is ok if your warm. Rained for most of 3 hours . Another 40 k through forest was cool, just have to concentrate a lot on the wet tracks. Saw an emu - second time ive seen one in the wild - life complete. Wanted to push on further today but it was bleak as F. And I kinda wanted to see the wurrumbungles in plain day… guess I’d excuse to lay up in a room , dry shit and set up for a big day to follow
