Slept in 💥

Had 1 hr sleep then decided to progress in hope of beating rain. 1am start and hit some horrendous muddy roads, took a spill. Lightning threatened then the rain started. Made it to Alec town. Slept in a toilet for 2 hours then progressed slowly to Parkes via more backroads past ‘The Dish’. Got to Parkes muddy and saturated and reset for a couple hours whilst the rain passed. Flogged it to Forbes then Caragabal. Another thunderstorm drenched me. Pressed on further 20km to Quandialla looking at the darkest scariest cloud set I’ve even seen. It didn’t disappoint, 🌪️⛈️. Pub room for the night 1305km mark 322km remained
