I've ridden so little in the last year that I was was worried whether I could complete the planned 140km for this 4th-annual ride.   I'd ridden 164km  in January, and 106km in October, but otherwise no rides over 100km.  So I was very apprehensive.

But it was fine. Great. Spectacular. It helped a lot that it was super warm for the season, and that I had great company, and a lot of nice autumn colors.

As we came into Kameoka with just 30km left, I still felt so good that I thought to just add 20km extra to make it a century (ride over 100 miles, 161 km), chipping away at my lifetime goal of 100.  This ride makes 94.
