Shame you couldn’t spend more time outside to enjoy the cooler weather but I get it about busy!
Oh.Wow! That is CRAZY!
And, good thing you ran this morning!
Right, Stephanie Harvey? Tomorrow’s run should be real interesting . . . . But I have to be in Austin tomorrow, so we planned to drive up tonight after Mass. We Texans apparently can’t handle snowy roads: crazy drivers ALL over the city. We decided to drive up early tomorrow. I hope the roads aren’t icy! Who would have ever thought we’d have snowy weather? ❄️☃️
Laura Ready, the weather turned even cooler! Unexpected, unusual snow!!!
A rumor of snow from far away lands?!
Hey look, someone unassembled a snowman all over the back yard!
Awesome!! I feel like am back in Amarillo TX!
Enjoy the snow. It's starting to get to upper 30 Celsius in our neck of the woods.
Ben Flores, yes! I grew up in Abilene and lived in Muleshoe for a brief period. I haven’t seen snow like this since leaving West Texas. It stayed around longer up there, though, than it did here😥
Oh, yes, Aala Pak Bench, I believe I wrote something to that effect a couple of days ago - and just yesterday morning I told my mom that she needed to put her idea of snow in San Antonio away, because it just would not happen. I’m two for two weather-wrong this week! I think it’s a good thing I don’t gamble! As for the unassembled snowman in the back yard, sadly only part of him remains. By the time I took - very much against their will - the dogs out just after 10 pm, the snow had stopped falling and its accumulation had already begun to melt😥😥😥
Johan Kriel, our weather is heading opposite directions! The snow began to melt during the night, since out temperature was just above freezing. It was glorious, though! No one knew during Mass that snow had started falling, so as the doors opened and we all left the church everyone was exclaiming joyfully, laughing, and making comments such as “Santa must really be coming!” Then after we got home we heard children and adults out in their yards, laughing and screaming with delight as they played in the snow! What a beautiful, delightful, Christmas blessing that unusual snowfall was!
As long as you keep playin' Christmas songs with a touch of western swing, all's well.
I saw the news this a.m. and thought of you! Wow! keep those tootsie warm and be careful in the snow.
