    nice job getting out there!

  2. Will Webb

May the toes thaw out and warm back up.

  3. Rich Rybacki

So brave to expose all those popsicle toes!

  4. Stephanie H.

That's where your mojo has gone...it's so hard to psyche yourself up to get out in the cold!

  5. Julie W.

Amazing, my feet are frozen in the house, I have no idea how you got out there, but look at your pace, coming back strong.

  6. Lauren Bartke

    Hardcore!

  7. Appalachian Runner

You shouldn't have to deal with those temps in Texas Teresa. It appears Mother Nature is a little geographically challenged this year. 😆 Really great job of getting out there and getting your run in Teresa! 👍🏼👍🏼 Very impressive!!🤗

  8. nurkan kurt

At least you could wear socks. :P . Great job!

  9. Aala P.

    How’s the Tierra Del Fuego?

  10. Katie Estill

Great jobTeresa!! I wouldn’t have lasted 5 minutes, it’s so cold out!!

  11. Jia Z.

Wow u are so brave running outside with bare feet! My hat off to you! 😃 👏🏼🙌🏼

  12. Timothy Mungania

Barefoot Teresa , nice work. I hope you are feeling much better. This week's 3M race looks warm. Be careful out there!

  13. Ricardo Diogo

Só Nice 😀 great run although the could. 😉

  14. Barefoot Teresa

    Thank you, Ricardo Diogo!

  15. Barefoot Teresa

Thank you, Timothy Mungania! As uncomfortable as this cold weather is, I do wish is would stay until after 3M Sunday. It’s great racing weather, anyway. Phillip is already recommending that I just skip the race Sunday, given the current weather forecast for that day. I’m not going to skip the race, but I may readjust my pace goal🙁

  16. Barefoot Teresa

Jia Zhang, thank you for the kind words, but you were out there in the cold too, and I seem to remember you swimming in Barton Springs one recent cold day - so I tip my hat to you!!!

  17. Barefoot Teresa

Thank you, Katie Estill! As long as the windchill remains below freezing, I’ll be running short runs! Way too cold for anything longer (unless it’s a race day).

  18. Barefoot Teresa

Aala Pak Bench, Tierra del Fuego is temporarily renamed Tierra del Frio. We’re freezing down here, and I’m not sure any of us is going to survive the cold to see the warming trend this weekend😱😊

  19. Barefoot Teresa

Thank you, nurkan kurt! No socks, though. Strictly bare feet. I’m keeping track of my barefoot running streak days and I think wearing socks doesn’t count as strictly barefoot running. Luckily we don’t have snow and ice all winter long!!!

  20. Barefoot Teresa

Thank you, Appalachian Runner, and I totally agree! Texans are I’ll-suited for extremely cold weather (well, extreme by our standard anyway), so we should be spared the bitter cold weather! I don’t know how y’all run in all that snow and cold up there! Northern runners are amazing.

  21. Barefoot Teresa

    Thank you, Lauren Bartke!

  22. Barefoot Teresa

Julie Wolf, when I finished that run I could NOT get warm! I put on a sweatshirt and sweat pants, socks, and covered up with a fleece throw. Finally, after about thirty minutes, I warmed up enough to move around and get stuff done. The cold just settles in the bones, right?

  23. Barefoot Teresa

You got that right, Stephanie Harvey! And I’m having some motivation issues again right now. Darn running streak. I could just stay warm in the house, drink coffee, etc. Ugh. Have to run, though😠

  24. Barefoot Teresa

Rich Rybacki Popsicle toes are always froze . . . .

  25. Barefoot Teresa

Thank you, Will Webb! All thawed and warm now - for the time being😊

  26. Barefoot Teresa

    Thank you, Kevin Lines!

  27. Heather Hepp

    Wow, impressive! You are dedicated!
