The race went on you got stronger it looks like from your pacing times.
Thanks! That was the plan- I wanted to run the first 5k at about 6:00/km, the next 10k about 5:45/km, and the rest no faster than 5:30/km. It worked perfectly. This was not my fastest time but it was about pacing for the marathon and running on tired legs!
What marathon are you planning and when? It's good to have a plan and see it through.
May 25- Abbotsford. A smaller but very nice one. I think today's pace will be too fast overall but will probably start at the same starting pace.
