I learned: Don’t get sick two weeks before a race. Goals A❌ B❌ C❌… Z❌
I boldly kept the pace for 21k but my heart rate was 10 beats higher than three weeks ago at that pace. So naturally, this wasn’t sustainable. Walk-jogged it home. Everything hurts and I want to cry. But we need those days to appreciate the good ones. And I’m super happy for my friend Guy Almog who actually finished in 2:50h. 💪
