    Will Webb and Laura Ready, maybe the gloomy, chilly weather makes running seem more burdensome, and the pressure of imminent races probably doesn’t help.

    Thank you, Travis Decker | Paragon Training, Appalachian Runner and Russell Hunter! Today’s another day and a chance for a better run, and Sunday is a chance to see if the Austin Marathon / Half-Marathon is friend or foe. I’ve run my marathon PRs in Austin: 4:15 in 2007; 4:14 in 2009, but also one of my slowest marathons: 5 hours in 2010, and then a DNF 2017. I’m running the half this year, but I’ve run the half a few times, too: a couple sub-2 and a couple a little over 2. So much depends upon the weather. Sigh.
