Heavy metal noise

Had no business out there racing. Thought I’d tuck in behind friends that would pass, but they were all running too fast. So I tried to roll and enjoy it and started getting pissed off about it being the longest, coldest, longest, windiest, longest 10k ever. Totally could’ve called an Uber at the 5k split. 

My favorite was seeing all of the strangers and friends who were out there and just had a great day. Jill and I looked up her results and she was like a kid on Christmas morning when she saw she’d PR’d the 10K. Brian podiumed his AG. Everyone I talked to had a great day and seeing their smiles is like Chrismas morning for me.
