Went out meaning to blow myself up if it meant Jojo Roldan had someone to push off of. Tried to lurk as hard as I could as long as I could so he’d feel the pressure. That got us both through TV2 at CR pace.

I’d hoped at that point I could dial stuff back a notch and try to cruise in, but the blow up was complete and the variables kept changing and wreaking havoc.

Had a blood pressure scare at the end, probably from having had too much diarrhea in the final push back to Stinson. Cured by lying down on Matt Davis for a bit while Patrick Rabuzzi played pretend Masseur.

Really stoked the CR fell even if it wasn’t JoJo. Felt like it needed field depth to push for that to happen and it showed up!

What a BAY BANDITS party up on the ridge. Never felt so much love in a race, made the depths into which I was digging that much easier.
