I do enjoy these Tuesday efforts. Things are going well, the pace is fast and I feel pretty good.

Mentally these next few weeks will be tough. The 29km runs on Sundays are not easy and it’s easy to get it in my head that this marathon thing is stupid.

But I’ll get through these runs and the closer I get to race day in Vancouver, the more I remember why I do this.

The plateau of training is almost here. A few weeks on top and then the slow run to the taper starts.
