Was running north on the southbound side of Lem Turner sidewalk. A guy driving north stops his car, opens the drivers door and gets out. Super dark and couldn't figure out what he was doing. I started running back towards an overpass, and then decided to turn around again when it looked like he was getting back in the car. Definitely didn't want to know what he had going on or was planning to do.

A little while later while running down a dark street I heard a guy coming up behind me on a squeaky bike. Older fellow and he said "Get that exercise!" I told him that I had encountered a loose dog in the area a few days ago so I was getting in some speedwork too. He said "That dog just came at me! That's why I have this piece metal so I can slap him upside the head if he tries it again." I thought I knew the dog/street he was referring to and wasn't planning on heading that way today. A few minutes later I cross through an intersection and hear a fellow from behind a car call out to me. "Don't go down that street, bruh. Dog down there coming at people. Already bit 2 folks." I thanked him and immediately altered course. Grateful there were folks out at 5:30 AM to let me know about the bad dog. Need to create a plan for Smyrna Street between Lila Avenue and Ida Street.
