First race since the Charlotte Marathon on November 11, after missing a total of 14 weeks of running since the marathon and November 18 bike crash, and was 57 seconds faster than last year on the same course!  Today was my first run since my Achilles bursitis flareup last Friday.  I got in an easy warmup with my friend Carmen and then raced, with the Achilles behaving throughout the whole race.  Felt stiff there after the race, so punted on cooldown miles and instead got ART and rocktape from Dr. Goodman at Greenapple's tent.  Very pleased with today and should have the Achilles bursitis fully nipped in the bud very soon, as it's already made tremendous progress.  My shoulder felt GREAT today!!!!
