The list of atrocities committed by this lawless administration has grown too long to recount, but none is a clearer sign that they wish to destroy America than yesterday’s invasion of California.

The US has gone to war with California. It’s no longer safe to travel within our own country, and pray you don’t live on a block the secret police decide to make disappear.

The Nazi bloodlust for purity and silencing anyone that dissents against their regime of terror is beyond scary. How many more Americans, guests, friends and allies need to suffer? How many more Palestinians are we going to let be murdered? How many more mothers will be imprisoned for miscarriage? How many more children will die of easily preventable diseases?

I ran dipsea, I guess. But I didn’t sleep last night. This a moment for good people to stand up, and I keep asking myself what exactly that means. And as the violence from this administration escalates the answers get darker and grimmer. It’s not clear there’s a way to end this without civil war when even the “reasonable” folks I grew up with have surrendered to the belief that every facet of this evil is not only acceptable but somehow in service of their God and the tyranny they’ve mistaken for freedom.

The greatest trick Satan ever played was convincing folks to worship him as God.
