Missed the left on the way back down but pushed on to Middlefork for a different finish. Added about a mile to last hike. Also went up South trail and down the North. The  South side may be a bit steeper but it rolls more where the North side is less steep but has a longer, sustained grade that ground down my legs last time. Moved quicker to ridge, getting to the rock pile in just over an hour. Spent more time shuffling , especially in the first hour. Felt like a good effort. New boots were pretty good. Hot spot in right toes from socks. Made adjustment at top and all was good.
